We frequently have deer visit our home in the woods so at times have cut up apples to give them a little snack.
Yesterday, another critter decided they’d enjoy their own little apple snack.
Enter our new little possum pal, Mr. Possum.
I don’t know much about possum and have no clue how to tell a male from female, but our cat Pepper was very interested/annoyed at its presence, so we were all happy when Mr. Possum grabbed his apple and went on his way.
Apparently, possum are good to have around, eating nastier bugs, venomous snakes, and the like and aren’t aggressive, so we’ll continue to leave out apples or other nibbles for our deer and new possum friend.
